Our Design Center Showroom is located in historic downtown Mount Dora and provides a unique shopping experience for our Clients, in that it is one of our completed projects. The building dates back to 1924, and was one of the first single-family homes built in town. The property was converted to a retail space in 2005 and placed on the City of Mount Dora's historic list. The location was used as an antique store from 2005 until Design South Homes acquired the property in mid-2010. The building was then transformed into our new Design Center Showroom and officially opened in March 2011. Maintaining the historic feel of the property while updating and restoring the building was performed with a purposeful balance and attention to detail. We are delighted to be a part of the historic atmosphere of Mount Dora and preserving the buildings that are part of our unique architectural history.
